Me; I hate censorship. Swearing is NOT wrong. "Sh*t" and "sugar" are the same thing in my book. Swearing should not be censored. If swears weren't so taboo, less people would be swearing!! Just like how if there were a lower/no drinking age (like Europe) there would be far less drunk driving and alcoholism. And if sex on TV was less strict, life would be so much better! Less teenage sex! Right?

Swearing doesn't matter. Words are words. Cussing exists. Why hide it?

Sure swearing exists, and it doesn't really matter to us teens and to adults, but what about children who have access to the web? Innocence needs to be preserved, so I think that kids don't need to read swear words at a young age. Plus, I don't really like reading posts full of swear words. Sure, once or twice is fine, and when you're really angry, but you don't need to make it constant.

Sarah, did you read Sassjenn's post after you mentioned swearing and I replied? Both our replies got deleted. But hers said something along the lines of "Words are words. The arrangement of letters shouldn't mean anything. Saying 'sugar' is just the same as saying any swear word because of the feeling behind it." I agree with her entirely.
I almost agree about the whole "innocence" thing. But then again, if swearing weren't so "bad" as society calls it, then kids would swear as often as they say antidisestablishmentarianism in context.
(AKA never. [none])

I'm sorry, but that question is somewhat vague..
Do you mean as to censorship on proboards, or the media, or what?

Oh in that case it should be allowed. If not, it is in violation of the Constituion. We have freedom of speech in America. Cuss words are words, and words are speech.
