I love making polls, can't you tell? I vote 'Yes, probably,' especially in light of the Korean nuclear testing.

Haha, yeah, we can tell. I vote 'Yes, definitely' because there are lots of people who hate the US, especially now. And with the Korean nuclear testing, that just makes matters worse.

Oh, cmon, Andy and Evan! Y'all are such PESSIMISTS! I vote 'No, definitely not' because I think people have gotten more humane since 9/11. I don't think we'll be victimized anyMORE. At least, I want to believe that. Why would they want to bomb us anyway?
And no, Andy, we can't tell. [/sarcasm]

We're not pessimists, Pancake, merely realists.

I voted 'Maybe'. It is always a possibility.
However, security has tightened, plus the Patriot Act, and the wars overseas. I think right now al Qaeda is more focused on gaining a new foothold in the Middle East. Jamaat al-Islamiyya probably will not carry out a terror attack against the US except in Afghanistan, as they are more anti-Mubarak then anti-America. And Hizballah, I believe, is more preoccupied in Lebanon, and possibly but not likely in Iraq.
However, our security is still not what it could be. For example, if you look at Israeli airport security and compare it with ours, theirs is far better. I believe there are a few more steps we need to instate on the homefront to keep us absolutely safeguarded against terror attacks.

Maybe. But I just want to know one thing. Why in the Sam Hill haven't they caught that cowardly turban-wearing wimp Osama binLaden and his henchmen yet? Have the authorities stopped looking for him now?

There is always a possibility for everything, that much is true...but I think it's a very small chance then. And as for the Osama binLaden question, who knows -- maybe he's just evasive?

It's probably because he is hiding out in northern Pakistan. Because of agreements we have with the Pakistanis, we are not aloud to send military into that country. Therefore, Osama has been hiding in Pakistan and this whole war has been about keeping the Taliban out of power in Afghanistan. I'm not sure what Iraq is about..

I voted "yes, definatly" because they (mostly Muslims) want to kill us. There really is nothing stopping them except their lack of imagination. They will find a way and then it'll be a 9/11 all over again.
