Most people blame president Bush. With everything Bush has done wrong, he doesn't need a bunch of idiots blaming him for Katrina. The Facts: -New Orleans was given thousands of dollars specificly for levees. They used it instead on improving parks and schools. New Orleans: 1, Bush: 0 -The people of N.O. KNEW that they were living in a city that was below sea level. Any minor flood would be bad. New Orleans: 2, Bush: 0 -They all knew that the hurricane was major. It was a high level hurricane for a long time--enough for the people to leave. New Orleans: 3, Bush: 0 -The mayor of New Orleans was an idiot, and when the federal government urged people to leave, he urged people to stay. New Orleans: 4, Bush: 0 -Now, most N.O.'ers call Bush a racist because he failed to protect every single black person in that town from injury. These are the same people who think Bush had the chance to build a wall around the WTC's before the 9/11 attacks, and call him a racist for not protecting every minority. Complete you-know-whats. New Orleans: 5, Bush: 0 Bottom line: It was NOT Bush's fault. He gave them money (they did nothing), he gave them warnings (they did nothing). He was victimized. The only thing the New Orleanders did was either die or blame their losses on the one man who was smart enough to try and help them. Do I think these people should've died? Well I'm tempted to say yes.

I completely agree with except for the part where you said that you were tempted to say yes for them deserving to die. No one deserves to die. Even murderers because death is too good for them, but that's a different story. But you forgot to mention that the Governer of Louisiana and the Mayor also had tons of school buses to evacuate people and they're all under water because they didn't use them! Yep Bush is to blame. Note my sarcasm.

The way I think of it is, if someone goes up and says "If you don't walk away I'm going to kill you" and you don't walk away, you deserve whatever that person is going to do to you. And that was the basic situation there.

Well I suppose that's true, but still no one deserves to die.

ME TOO! I was in it last year. I played Fred, the nephew/caroler. And I was 2nd in line for Cratchitt since the dude who played him quit, but they couldn't let me play him since nobody could take my place as Fred since there were no other tenors who could act. So I was stuck as Fred and the only possible other person to play Cratchitt was this idiot who can't act and bragged about it so much. Blah.

Well, I agree with Andy that Bush is not to blame, but I also agree with Brooke (er, I mean UNKNOWN..lol) that no one deserves to die. AND I love Christmas Carol, too.
